Differences Betwen The Xu9ja And The Xu9jaz

Hey. I where just wondering what the differences betwen the two engines are. I know that the XU9JAZ has Cat, Motronic ECU and so on. But then i noticed that the XU9JAZ olso has a lower copression ratio (9,2-1) than the XU9JA (9,6-1). My question is: What is it that is different here? The pistons ore the head?

I think its the pistons iirc.

Yep, its the pistons. They also have different cam timing, achieved by having a #3 inlet cam pulley. The outlet pulley is the same though
