jimistdt 1 Posted October 16, 2008 Had my head under the bonnet this morning, and it seems I have a coolant leak, mainly from the Int. metal pipe which I replaced last week, no problem there, I'll just refit it, but I found a hole in the expansion tank supply hose where it has been rubbing on the Air-filter closing clip. Does anyone know the part no. for this and if I can use one off any other model? The other thing is on my Brake vacuum pump the hose nearest the bulkhead works its way loose, there is no clip on there of any description, should there be? Thanks folks
jimistdt 1 Posted October 16, 2008 (edited) Right I think the part no. is - 1307 P7 (RHD Water pipe) £40! *chokes* Can anyone confirm please? Also question still stands over the Vacuum pump. Merci Edited October 16, 2008 by jimistdt
pug_ham 245 3 Cars Posted October 17, 2008 There shouldn't be a clip on the vacuum hose, should have a small resistance when fitting but not very much. If its that slack get a cable tie around it to holdd it on or a jubilee clip if you want. The hose from the thermostat housing to the expansion tank is the right number you have above but they are fitted to all 205 / 309 diesels so you might be able to find on in a scrapyard. G.
