GLPoomobile 958 Posted September 24, 2008 I posted the other day asking about the inlet diameter of the standard AFM inlet plastic adapter, which is apparently 67-70mm. I was going to get the shorter adapter from Green, but they have discontinued this part. I was offered an alternative with an 80 odd mm inlet diameter, for a BMW, but since they don't print the measurements for any of the other adapters I'm not going to take the risk. Now I've found this eBay seller, who does the same sort of 'top hat' adapters, but with a 76mm inlet. They look similar dimension wise, but none of them list Peugeot/Citroen fitments, and don't show base plate dimensions. Can anyone take a look at the site and advise if any of the car models quoted either share the same AFM as the 205 Jetronic on 405/BX 16v Motronic, or if they know for a fact that they have the same inlet adapter dimensions? I'm thinking that size 2 might be right, as some of the pictures I've found when googling each car look very similar to 'our' AFMs. Air Inlet Adaptors Aluminium Size 2 Application Guide Size 2 BMW E30 325 1987-1991 BMW E30 M3 1987-1991 MAZDA 323 1990-1995 MAZDA 626 1985-1992 MAZDA MX-3 (4 cylinder) 1992-1993 MAZDA MX5/MIATA 1990-1993 NISSAN 200SX 1995 on NISSAN SENTRA 1995-1999 TOYOTA CAMRY 1987-1991 TOYATA CAMRY V6 1992-1993 TOYOTA CELICA GT 1986-1989 TOYAT CELICA GT 1994-1996 TOYOTA MR2 1990-1995 TOYOTA SUPRA (non turbo) 1986-1992 LEXUS GS300 1993-1996 LEXUS LS400 1990-1994 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF MK2 1987-1992 VOLKSWAGEN JETTA 1987-1992 eBay shop If any of these have the right base plate dimensions for our AFMs then I'll get one with a suitable 76mm filter. If not, then I'll have to get a 70mm filter and retain the longer OE AFM adapter (or cut it down, which I don't want to do as it's gash and not a very tidy solution). GLPoomobile 958 Posted September 29, 2008 Thanks Graham. I have looked, but no luck. Still no answer from the eBay seller. Anyone had any of the cars on the list and know if the AFM inlet adaptor has the same dimensions as the Pug ones?
