Wiring Rev Counter On A Gti6 Conversion

Need some advice on wiring up my rev counter in a 205 with a GTI6 conversion, using the car for road/stage events, haven't bothered up til now tho would be nice to get it working!did see it on a topic here a while ago - can't seem to find it, even with using the search function!? any info would be gratefully recieved.
