When you fit any type of carbs you remove the standard Rev Limiter.

If you want to keep a rev limiter you will need something like the ones Demon Tweeks sell. (sorry cant remember the make!!)

i know i need to remove the rev limiter,

thats what i am saying i need to know if its the ecu that cuts spark or fuel (or neither) to operate the rev limiter.

the way i have my system set up i can remove the ecu all together and run a switchable live to the fuel pump.

i already have spark with out the ecu connected.

I believe it is controlled by the ECU so when you fit the carbs it removes the rev limiter.

Yes you are right I have just stripped back my wiring loom and have also removed the whole wiring from the ecu plug that fed back into the engine. Its still working!!!!
