Bally 4 Posted May 31, 2008 Just pulled down my close ratio box to change the final drive. 1st 2.692 2nd 1.937 3rd 1.588 4th 1.350 5th 1.150 Just changed the final drive from 4.1 to 4.8 since its going on the track car. The gears have SP engraved in them. Anyone know the origin of this box? The crown wheel cannot fit on a std diff or quaife atb and the lsd uses special shafts. Batfink 201 Posted June 1, 2008 Those ratios look pretty much the same as my straight cut Bacci box so there would probably be a good start. You have a rally gearset - to make mine suitable for track use it got a standard final drive fitted which makes it top out at 130mph at 8000rpm so still very short in an 8v!
