Where's the best place to go for big ends and mains

 

Big Ends:-

0415 10-98 560 015 (guess this is a oct 1998 date code and 015 undersize)

 

Mains:-

21-416 1e 0.30 (30 undersize)

 

Crank looks mint some tiny marks on the berarings.

Also is the Idler bearings replaceable as a plan bearing. I did this with my Lancia, knocked the inner and outer out and found a bearing for £10 instead of the lancia bit which was £40 or £50

Part no on the idler is INA J10 120046-4

 

Any advice appreicated

Get OE spec shells from any decent engine builders. Good motor factors can get them also.

 

I got mine from the place that done my lightening and balancing etc.

 

Personally, id just buy the proper idler. But im lazy Im sure you could get the bearign matched up if your willing to put in the leg work.

£26.50 from GSF for the bearing so I'll just go there for one. Other looks pretty new. Not going to bother with the shells. Only a precaution, it was rebuilt a few years ago but you're looking at £100 near enough for BEs and mains
