Retro Pug 0 1 Cars Posted April 14, 2008 I'm in the process of gathering parts for my GTi6 conversion. As the car is a 1.6 should I get hold of 1.9 hubs and shafts for brake upgrades, or should I use the GTI6 hubs and 1.9 shafts? I thought the GTI6 hubs were a straight swap and are lighter but speaking to a bloke in GSF he said they would not fit..... Can anyone clear this up? Cheers John. welshpug 1,627 Posted April 14, 2008 depends on the age of the 306, later ones use an 18mm balljoint pin rather than 16mm like the 205. the hubs are said to be lighter than 205 ones, but you do lose some camber. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
