Ant 2 Posted March 21, 2008 Just changed the head gasket ( had skimmed, valve stem seals etc ) Alls gone back together fine. Just fired it up and it runs fine before the water gets warm. Once the therostate opens and water flows round the car the idel shoots up very loud, like a constant foot on the accellerator.
