Bodykits For 205's - Wide Front Track

My front track is going to shortly be wider. Colin needs to know by how much though and has asked me to look at arches as he can make the car as wide as can fit.

 

Having never really been a fan of bodykits I'm really lacking in knowledge to whats available.

I really like the Maxi F2000 kit but its rather too pricey as a full kit would require a full respray which I have not budgeted for.

 

My favourite 205 has been colin's own 205 racecar which had majorly pulled out front wings, although with aftermarket arches I will get better clearance.

I'm tempted to cut and stretch a standard set of front wings using fibreglass, make myself a mould and then some lightweight front wings to keep a near standard look, but as ever i'm sure there are better options!

 

any recommendations?

The Rallye arches are no wider than the standard gti arches are they?

 

I'm sure Sandy has a picture of his car and Colins together which will show how wide the arches are going to need to be!

The white car in the picture is paul pirkins sprint car, it has one of my chassis and runs 8 by 15 fronts with zero offset, i think he got the arches on ebay.

16x8's with et0 under the smaller arches. They did stick out a tiny bit but went through the mot etc...
