Electronic Ignition?

Recommended Posts

Would there be any advantage to using an electronic ignition system like lumintion for example in place of the normal rotor arm set up?

Or have I got the whole idea very wrong and it won't work at all?

Remaoving the dizzy completely? If your thinking along the lines of proper old cars, like minis etc, having electronic ignition conversions, then they keep the rotor i think, and 205's have an equivelent electronic system.
