Guest reece_306 Posted February 7, 2008 hey guys im getting an exhaust put on my 306 s16 in the next couple of weeks. i have a straight through cat already and am chasing ideads/opinions on what to get to the back of the car. bear in mind my motor has the 2.1 bottom end with higher compression, a 3 angle valve grind and a stage 1 cam. it will be going to stage 3 cams, quad tb and haltech engine management in the future so i dont want to have to change it then. i was thinking 65 mm mandrel bend pipe to one rear muffler on a flange to change around if it gets to noisy. any help greatly apprciated, Reece
petert 554 Posted February 7, 2008 65mm will be ok, but if too noisey, change the tailpipe to 57 or even 50mm. Make sure the rear muffler has plenty of volume.
