Gti6 Downpipe Onto Standard System

Hi

 

Does anybody know if the gti6 catalyst will fit onto the standard 205 centre pipe ???, as they both have the same fitment type i was wondering if the dimensions would match up??

It will be too long to fit onto the std exhaust. I've used a GTI6 decat, chopped to about 2/3rds of it's length and then welded a pipe to the end so that the exhaust can slide onto it.

I used a cat on my conversion when I first did it and then fitted a decat pipe at a later date,I tried it with and without the cat honeycombe in it and it was far more responsive and torquier without,only thing is the empty box resonated something awfull without the cat honeycomb in it.
