Broke Something On My Gti6

Recommended Posts

gti-si

Being careless when removing the inlet mani, i've snapped off a black thing connected to a vacuum pipe, i've cirlced in the picture below. What is it? Is it replacable or part of the block? Im not sure if there is some of it left behind in the manifold or not, doesnt appear to be.

That picture is from a topic on the forum, it's not my bay, just incase whoever it is, is wondering whats going on

the black part on the end of the hard plastic pipe is just a connector, should be clipped over a 6mm ish dia brass pipe.

you can just block that hole up and just take the brake servo hose straight to the vacoum on the end of the cam

Ahh Ok, thanks Dean. Saves me the effort of buying a new one! So I can scrap the T-junction and use the 205 brake vacuum hose straight to the cam?
