Mi16 Injection Coding Resistor

Recommended Posts

pp205

Hi,

Another question regarding my Mi16 that I can't start!

Have been checking all the ECU pins today (from my haynes wiring diagram) and found the 2 that go to the injection coding resistor - wires numbers 15 and M146. The connectors for these are just a few inches down from the loom main ecu multiplug.

So - what do these plug into and what does it look like?

Any help will be lovely,

Cheers Simon

Supposedly you can connect different resistors between them and the ECU will alter the timing and fueling for different fuel types (95RON, 97, 92, etc).

Normally they don't have anything plugged in, and the car should run fine without one.

Thanks Ryan, I can eliminate that from being a problem then!
