Miles 331 1 Cars Posted June 7, 2003 After many months, I found out what these are like. I was down at my Mates garage yesterday and he had been given a couiple of these, Christ as we know this is a complete con, But a good scam as someones made some money. Basicly all you got was a bit of A4 paper with some usless instructions on, 1 resistor and some tape baslicy going along with the same post as atomic-jon's idea, worth around 4p so a nice little profit margin. But it tried it for a laugh on a 205 with the resisitor in parallel with the ECU water temp and strangly it didn't work, but it ticked over at 2000rpm
KRISKARRERA 2 1 Cars Posted June 7, 2003 Hmm well there should be a way to let e-bay know that a user is selling s*ite
pug_ham 245 3 Cars Posted June 8, 2003 It's amazing what people will buy if an increase in performance of their car is promised. I think you can tell ebay that a seller is selling s*it but nothing might come of it. At least you didn't buy it for the racecar Miles!! Graham.
