smighall 1 Posted December 17, 2007 Does anybody have a diagram showing the flow of coolant round the GTI6 engine? I'm going to be removing the heater matrix from the 205, and my plan was to block up the end of the metal pipe running up the back of the block where the inlet pipe for the heater matrix connect. Then connect my header tank to the stat housing where the outlet normally connects. As far as i can see that should be fine as there is still the little stumpy connector that connects to the bottom of the stat housing, so the coolant should still flow correctly, but i'm not 100% sure.
