welshpug 1,626 Posted December 12, 2007 sounds about right for a 1.9 box I'd say, but then its quite close really between them, less than 6mph in top. 3000 RPM in 5th on a 1.90 box is 63 MPH, in a 1.6 its 57.3. 1.6 = 19.1 mph/1000rpm 1.9 = 21.0 mph/1000rpm. Can't change f***ing gear quick enough in lower gears must be a total pain in a MI- AND mine tops out at an indicated 110 Private road OF COURSE Anyway....... back on topic! ......
