pug_ham 240 3 Cars Posted December 3, 2007 Have a look on the block by the upper engine mount for the engine ID tag (small silver & black tag), its possible they are the same engine so there's no point. If the tag is there there will be a three digit code on, either 180A or B6D. If its a B6D then its the later 115bhp engine which is possibly the same as the 87 D reg one but if you don't have the ful;l engine to check I simply wouldn't bother. If the engine is a 180A then you'll be better to fit the whole head from a later model for the bigger valves. Graham. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
