My New Suspension...

i'll be running platform bilstein tarmac spec 185lbs springs 300/200 inserts

 

rears are tarmac spec (same as special tuning )

 

i'm running eccentric top mounts

 

can someone give me an idea on what to set the top mounts too????

sort of half back half in so the left (as you look at it from the front of the car is in the 2 O'clock and the right in the 10 O'clock position.

then take it somewhere good and get it 4 wheel aligned so you know whats whats

i was more looking for degrees of camber and all the other bits and peices, rather than guess work :D

 

and i will take it somewhere, but i need to know what to set it too :(

On my 309 I basically set them at 45deg to the transverce line or the longitudinal line, which is the same thing really, as a starting point and they were pretty much spot on, about 1.5 neg camber. I never bothered adjusting it after.

what james says is a good place to start. you can't specify specific camber and caster with these top mounts, because as one increases the other decreases.

 

find the position that works best for you
