Kangarooing 1.9 205

i brought a 205 1.9 G reg around 6 months ago that had been stood, i drove the car back and it kangarooed badly, i change plugs and leads hoping it would sort the problem it hasnt. I took the car for mot this morning which it passed even with the missfire. Basicly could people give me some ideas on what it could be, could the timing be out, i took the dizzy and arm of today both looked good, not warn

Or you could do a search and find all the answers to a very common problem...... :D

I'd be inclined to check the engine stabiliser rubber mounting under the engine. When these rubbers wear out they make the car jumpy and weird. :) Good luck.
