Engine Mounts.

Hi all, just bought a top engine mount and a gearbox mount from my local motor factors (I have a grp N lower mount on order) and they said i should need this one too but i cannot find it on my engine bay anywhere is it for a non gti model or something?

Looks like a slightly different top mount..... designed a bit different?

Looks to me like a different type of O/S top mount, might be wrong (waiting for someone to correct me) would be used instead of seperate O/S mount and buffers.

 

Sorry no idea what it's for though !!!

Might be for the old XY engine found in 205's upto 1988 and upto 1360cc

how think is the rubber? from top to bottom???

 

does that bolt go all the way through?? (can test using multimeter)

 

how much was it????

 

 

and yeah it's the drivers side top mount

Seen similar on some citroens, i..e. buffers mounted on the mount itself, but I assumed the buffer part was separate, looks to be a bit tight to screw the whole thing into place
