Help Please, Ive Made A Mistake!

im soo annoyed with myself..........

 

just rebuilding the engine in my mates 1900 8v XU9 i have forgotten to number the 4 Injector plugs when i removed them so dont know which ones to plug into which injectors :wacko::(:)

 

i know i know such a simple and silly mistake

 

how do i sort this out and find out which ones go where?!

 

unfortunately i need to know asap i need teh car running and out of the way

They're batch fired mate so you can put them on anyhow, you'll find they'll fit better some ways rather than others.

ah brilliant, so they all fire at the same times?!

 

i suppose it all happens so fast its pretty much a constant flow.....

 

as long as ur sure they all fire at the same time and i can fit them wherever

Yep as said they will go on anyway and tend to only fit on the injector they came from now with the wires going hard with age, When they were new it was different as they where nice and flexi!!

fine job

 

thats great, thought that was gonna get really complicated

 

looking forward to see how it goes as ive had 28 thou skimmed off the head while it was off, see what difference it makes to the drive

there are no significant differences in top end, wide open throttle, horsepower between batch fired and timed systems. We have also not seen any significant differences in fuel economy between the two strategies
