What Size Master Cylinder For Ap 4 Pot Brakes

Recommended Posts

205wrc

As I'm going to fit some AP 4 pot calipers to the front of my car, what size master cylinder do you recommend using. At the moment, I have 1.6 hubs and discs with 1.9 calipers and master cylinder.

The new calipers are AP CP2361, or commonly known as the "AP Forest" caliper

I think you need to compare the original piston surface area with the surface are of the new ones (45.6 cm2 according to the link)

The largest you can find - 23.8mm. 406 non ABS, 4 outlet. You need to plug the last outlet. I use this on my 205 with Hi -Spec 4 pots(39mm pots) with great results.
