Xu10j4 Max Overbore ?

what is the max overbore from a xu10j4 2.0 16v?

 

wich pistons (compression)/gasket did you use?

Max overbore is a relative term.

 

Depens on lots of things like casting quality on you block, on what stroke you're running, how much bho you plan to run etc.

 

87mm is concidered to be safe, 88mm is working good for quite a few of us, at least 3 ones on this forum I think, myself and two others.

Some claim (sweedes and danes) they've bored into the water jacket at 89mm bore, but that just have to be bulls*it as I can't see how that's possible with the XU10 blocks I've looked at.

i have here an mi16 crankshaft in very good condition but stock stroke 86mm would be ok.

~180bhp

i dont want the max possible power -i want "some" more power -solid!
