Guest puggti Posted May 31, 2003 ok, now my engine mountings seem to be shagged, i have changed the top one which i belive is the easiest What other ones are there and are they hard to change?!?! C_W 3 1 Cars Posted May 31, 2003 The one on the gearbox (under the batter) is easy to change. When you take the battery off there will be two 13mm nuts and a larger 18mm nut holding the pin from the gaerbox up in the mount. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Guest puggti Posted June 3, 2003 ok i went to GSF and bought some engine mounts, i asked for every1 they have for the 205 gti, i got given a circle thing with rubber in side and another circle thing with something sticking out with thread in it!! They confused me!! Any1 got any photos of what the mounts should look like, ie the one under the battery tray and the one on the subframe so i can see if i have the right ones!! Also i need to get the one near the cam belt end, i can see what this looks like so i dont need fotos of this!! Pug Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Guest puggti Posted June 3, 2003 Thanks mate, i have the top right one and the bottom left one (the bottom letf one i have looks a little bit diff with the same metal casing and the rubber inside, it doesnt have the silver bit on it but has a hole so it will do!!
