BackStreetRacecars 3 Posted September 9, 2007 When lowering the rear end of my car my mate that was helping me broke both the rear bump stops off by mistake, are they still available from peugeot or am i better off getting competition efforts? also how much of a pain are they to fit?? Grim.Badger 15 Posted September 10, 2007 Yes Pug still have them (or did not long ago) and they are about £6.50 including the cup that they fit into. They can be a pain to fit if the bolt that holds them on is rusted up but otherwise are simple. Ben_M 1 Posted September 13, 2007 I changed mine about 6 months ago it cost me £11.50 from Peugeot . one of the bolts was hard work to remove but mole grips and a little bit of heat and it was out in no time.. As for running it with out the bump stops, my didn't have them on for 5 years. this wasn't a problem as the car was lowered but one spline and running Koni Adjustable rear shocks. It only started to rub when I went back to standard shocks and left the beam lowered. Ended up returning the car back to standard. hope this helps in some way!
