Advice Needed For Connecting Gti-6 Manifold To...

Ello.

 

I'm dying to rip my 8v out of my 205, it's not sounding too clever. I'm got a 6 engine waiting in the wind. It's come straight of a 205, so it fits.

 

Im running a 2.5" magnex system, and I will be running the gti6 manifold, but it's won't fit due to the difference in bore sizes. I've emailed company's like powerflow and longlife for a custom downpipe, but they've not got back to me!

 

Does anyone know what downpipe I need exactly, or where else I could purchase one?

I used a GTi6 decat pipe as the adapter, but you'll be lucky to get one cheap.

done this 3 times now, get a standard 205 gti downpipe, cut the flange off and reweld lower and reanged to fit nicely on gti6 manifold, you will need to cut about 2 inches of pipe else itwill hand too low, then cut the pipe under the car. This is the perfect diameter to slide into magnex system
