Will the starter from a xu9jaz (205 GTi) fit on a xu10j2te (2.0T) -99?

 

Also, from which engine could I get a generator that works on the that engine (xu10j2te)

Just get a generator from a XU7 for example, or of course XU10.

 

The starter will fit, but might need some angle grinder action, at least mine needed that.

But ended up getting another starter as the 205 gti one couldn't turn over the engine fast engough, too much compression and displacement
