Corbeau Forzas With Subframes - Stupidly High?

Finally got round to putting in my new forza sports seats last night, using corbeau sliding subframes. the only trouble is the seats seem ridiculously high..there's about 2cm between my head and the roof (I'm not a tall chap either!) which is gonna cause issues when I'm trying to wear a helmet. Has anyone else found this? any suggestions of how to get round it?

I used fixed frames with my forzas and they were a fair bit lower than standard, i know thats not really much help to you though!

hmm maybe I should have gone for the fixed frames instead of sliding then

I have these seats on sliders in my 205 and they are fine. I made up a square, flat frame out of 30x5mm metal strip to attach them to the orginal mounts.

 

Sliders will only increase height by around 30mm.
