Boot Trim

is it right what someone told me that the trim at the bottom of the boot(the one with the peugeot 205 gti on it) can be taken off and it will just be smooth under neath...dont want to just take it off and it be all wierd undereath!

 

has anyone got a picture if they have done this?

 

seen a few and i think it looks quite good all flat!

No picture but once you have removed the rear panel it is normally very mucky behind there and it will some paint attention.

 

You will also be left with 3 or 4 small rivets and a small hole (which attach the panel to the tailgate).

That's only dirt in the picture, and it looked much better once cleaned up. If it was being left off then it would need t-cutting at least, and ideally the trim rivets taken out and the holes filled and painted over.
