Torx Size Of Bolts That Hold Front Seats Down?

Ok i'm trying to take my front seats out and torx 30 seems too small, torx 40 too big....but halfords only have 30 and 40, nothing in between...are my bolts screwed and rounded off or should i be finding a torx piece inbetween 30 and 40?

torx 40 is what they usually are

Hmm, im gonna try smacking the crap out of my torx bit til it goes in, failing that the angle grinder is coming out!

Its definately T40 that you need, the bit might need some 'gentle' persuasion with a hammer to go in..

Argh, 40 is definitely too big, and 30 definitely too small....no sets do ts35 and my drill bits have just snapped trying to drill the things out....what can i do?!?!

Ahh, it seems theres a difference between ts 40 and t40....the t40 is sharper on the points of the star and so fits nicely....still got one of the sods rounded off but hey, im getting closer.
