pacey205 2 Posted May 21, 2007 Right my oil temp sensor appears to have given up seeing as it has cracked across the face (sigh). Luckily its not leaking but I would like to replace it so wheres the best place to get one from. I know that its the same as the 8v sensor (unless its a late one which is a different size, which mine shouldnt be) but I couldnt see anywhere in a search of where to buy from. Id rather not have to buy from Pug if I can help it as no doubt theyll take weeks to order it in and then try and give me th wrong part again . I know the Pug part number is 0242 50 but cant see it listed on GSF or similar. Any ideas ? Michael Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I just went and checked my old 8v sump full of parts, and the oil sensor is still stuck to the side, so you can have it for a few quid if you want. I'll probably end up regretting it though.
