Funny Happenings On Hard Braking..

Recommended Posts

Guest tommyboy205

when driving normally the brakes seem fine.. no pulling or uneven-ness.

even under "spirited" conditions it still feels fine.. noting untoward..

then just at the point of lockup the whole car spins it is like the nearside front wheel is being dragged under the car at a funny angle.. the car lurches to the left and you have to let off for fear of a spin..

i assume it is the ns wheel locking up but to be honest it sounds like the os one is. i have bled the os caliper and it seems fine.. both have new discs and pads put on my previous owner.

any ideas guys??

also i have a knocking from the front os wheel as it is going over small bumps. i have checked the bushes and all seem fine but it might be something i am overlooking as i am new to peugeots. any suggestions on where to start appreciated.
