migti 0 Posted March 18, 2007 was in halfords earlier and spotted track day oil of some sort! looks like its there own brand, fully synthetic stuff and quite a heavy weight if i could remember it, unsure of who actualy makes there oil's tho anyone any comments? jim21070 2 Posted March 20, 2007 I bet it's not cheap.. At one time it was believed Halfords oil was made by Comma and thus it was good stuff. Rumour has it that someone else supplies them these days and it's not as good as the former Comma stuff. Personally, I'd stick to something with a well-known brand and provenence. (it's a 106 by the way) if it's a different kind of oil, i.e. hypoid rather than gear oil it can. some 'boxs are more sensitive to different weights than others. best get the right stuff.
