How Much Brake Fluid Do I Need

never changed the whole lot before so have no idea

I guess it could be smth about 1l, but it's always better to be on the safe side and get twice as much as you will need, so I guess 2-3l should be enough to flush it all through and be sure that the amount of the old fluid left in the system is very small.

I'm going to go through it this weekend.

You'll need a little over half a litre to fully flush the oil brake fluid and bleed the brakes, so get a 1 litre bottle and you'll have plenty should you get air in the system and have to re-bleed it.

 

Just be careful not to snap the bleed nipples off the calipers (quite easy to do) and otherwise just follow what it says in the Haynes manual and you can't go wrong. The job should take about half an hour.
