pete1986 2 Posted March 12, 2007 Hi, im quite new to this site, this is my first post. I have had a 205 gti for a while and have always thought about dropping an mi lump in it. A couple of weeks ago i found a 1.9 405 mi16 for sale, only 60000 miles!!! Clutch has gone, and does have some problems starting (tries to fire up too quickly, apparantly) but runs ok. Anyway, im not capable of doing the conversion myself. Can anyone recommend somewhere the south east? im near brighton. ive just seen just gti's website, have they got a good reputation? Miles 331 1 Cars Posted March 12, 2007 Not wanting to put anyone down but have a seach on Just GTi's and you'll find out for yourself, But I do the 16v conversion's and have done quite a few for people on here old and new, I'm more Central South but can collect car's no problems at all, There is also another forum member (The name escapes me at the moment) who does them around the Gatwick area I think.
