My car seems to have miraculously improved its economy! I put £40 of fuel in at 84.9p per litre and its on course for about 315-20 miles.

had 38-40 on a long run in the 1.6...that was from north essex to exeter without stopping

average on this is around 29-32 if lucky but then it doesnt do many long runs at the moment.

was getting to around 38-40 in the 1.9 as well until i got stopped by the gendarme...that well and truly messed up my fuel economy drive.

worked it out that im getting around 25mpg if im spirited with it...around 32 if careful and not on a long run out.

on my road rally 205 1.9 on a 120 mile event the car uses about £60 petrol so doesn't do much mpg, i'd think about 9mpg ish
