This may sound stupid but does anyone know how to get the roland garros door pins out as i need to change them for the gti ones as i have gti door cards and the pins won't fit through the hole in the door card. iv had a look at them but it seems like i have to take the whole door motor out is this the only way?

I'm guessing he means the pins you use to lock the doors.

Unfortunately I'm not sure how to take them off.

At a rough guess I would say you need to follow the rod down inside the door and they will clip in to the locking mechanism. Remove them from here and clip the other ones in place.

To remove the door latch mechanism. Knock the check strap pin out (the one that goes click - and costs £4 from pug before you ask). Remove the door card. Then inside theres 2 * 10/13mm bolts. Then the mechanism will fall out through the door.

I could of sworn the base models and Gti stuff was the same.
