Anthony 1,000 Posted January 17, 2007 You'll need 1.9 disks to match the base model hubs, and you can use either 1.6 or 1.9 calipers. Did a 1.9 front brake conversion (1.9 disks and 1.9 calipers) onto a friends 1.1 a few weeks back, and it made a big improvement. Yes to both questions, the original front hoses should fit the hdi calipers but might be a bit short on full lock & you should be able to get a braided hose set for the XS. Graham.
