Mi16 - 45 Webber Dcoe Help!

Recommended Posts

speedy

Hi guys!

After 5 long years of the 205 sitting in the garage I am finally going to put it on the road.

Need your help to do so....

I fitted a pair of 45 carbs, but since they were off another car i would really appriciate some info :-

CHOKE SIZE - My mi16 has a pair of really mild cams (catcams the mildest you can get from the range) apart from that the engine is standard. Anyone know what choke size is best to start from?

Main Jets etc.... what jets should i start off with? both main and idling etc..

Thanks in advance for your help :)

I have 36mm chokes on my standard head with a pugspares exhaust manifold and a pair of bp270's. They were dhlas though but pretty similar to the dcoes, 34mm if it was standard id say.

Not sure what the jets etc are unfortunatly, it is written down somewhere though....
