Re Routing Oil Breather Pipes.

Recommended Posts

Im sticking an oil catch tank in the 205, problem I have is due to the 2.0 bottom end I only have one input for oil on the block, This currently has the normal T piece for a 205 with oil filler neck and cam cover hose attached. At the neck end I have the smaller or the 2 take offs on the cap going to oil catch tank, catch tank has 2 pipes but Im guiessing one will have to be able to breath so gonna stick a filter on there. Whioch leaves me with 2 pipes on the filler neck, one on cap and one on the body. Could I just connect these together so any oil that blows out there just circulates back in?

Im not sure if i understood the setup, but i think that as long as you have a suitable breather to relieve any crankcase pressure caused by blow-by, (which you have in the form of a catchtank) then you should be alright connecting up the 2 on the neck
