Help! What Wheel Bolts Have I Been Sold?

Recommended Posts

welshpug

bought some nice shiny wheelbolts on ebay last week -

PICT0270.jpg

the thread and length of the bolt is perfect, but oddly is has a much larger shank as shown here -

PICT0271.jpg

thats 17mm BTW, forgot flash and shiny objects dont mix

this is a pug original bolt - PICT0272.jpg

as you can see is quite a lot smaller, just shy of 13mm in fact.

so what the hell have I been sold?

anyone care to whip out a bolt from their 106 206 307 and measure the shank please?

I think they may be for later wheels seeing as the thread matches.

As Shown in the picture , these nuts have a 60 degree taper, meaning they are suitable for almost all aftermarket wheels. If you are using original alloy wheels then please check that the existing nuts on your car are also tapered and not flat before purchase.

nope!

they're the only pug/citroen bolts this bloke does, It has also been confirmed that they're for later pugs as the hole in the wheel is larger.
