Removing Calipers

Recommended Posts

Batfink

I am trying to remove my pads and disks so I can swap the hub on my gentry to a 1.9 one.

Its got 1.9 brakes but instead of the usual 10mm hex socket to undo the caliper to remove the pads it seems to need a 9mm hex socket! I can't even find this item for sale so have I got an odd part???

Stab in the dark and say i've got an imperial part?

Possibly someone elses bodged repair? sounds like they have stuck in an imperial bolt...my guess is a 3/8, thats about 9.4mm if i remember rightly.
