Turbo7379 3 Posted December 4, 2006 I need to change the fuel tank on my track car . Due to some previous owner botching an exhaust fitting there is now a melted portion on the plastic tank ! I have a scrap 205 TD here with a good tank fitted . Will it fit the GTI ok before I go to the fun of removing it ? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

mos 1 Posted December 4, 2006 if is the same as a normally aspirated diesel then it will definately fit i run my twin dellorto carbs powered 205 using a diesel tank as i the outlet on the tank was the same size as the gti's and it meant not having to mess around in the tank removing the injection pump etc when i fitted the carbs and low pressure pump Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
