Bam 0 Posted November 27, 2006 @sam you mean that? "Hm.. Maybe I wired it in wrong then. Wire 480 goes from ECU, to diagnostic socket and then to the instrument cluster. I wired up this wire with a bulb, and a switch to earth (before the lamp). So thought earthing the circiut for 3 seconds would start the procedure." mik
sonofsam 5 Posted November 27, 2006 Would be alot easier in my mind just to buy a fault code reader:) With the list of corresponding faults.
Bam 0 Posted November 27, 2006 but where to connect? where its possible to buy a "fault code reader" ? mik

sonofsam 5 Posted November 27, 2006 (edited) I dont think the standard ECU ( 1bar map sensor+Boost regulator solenoid ) will allow that! Edited November 27, 2006 by sonofsam

Bam 0 Posted November 28, 2006 yesterday..i've ordered a gasket... thermohousing... have conneceted waterreturn there (thermohousing)...little leaky. has anyone also connected there and probs?! (after that..will start engine and test not 100% sure...tooth displaced, leak air) maybe, will connect cit dealer for read out the mem mik
sonofsam 5 Posted November 28, 2006 ^^^ Cheers Graham. @Bam , you bound to get a few leaks first time, i had both air & water leaks, nothing a bit of over tightening of jubilee clips etc wont sort. Yes Citreon can read faults, but here in UK they will charge you big time if they dont get to do the work, £45 I think a mate paid to have his Saxo ECU read without them doing the work after to fix. Bam 0 Posted November 28, 2006 (edited) @sam "have conneceted waterreturn from turbo there (thermohousing)...little leaky. has anyone also connected there and probs?!" so...it seems...that xu9 thermohousing cap...is ~2-3mm smaller than xu10. (had it changed...aluminium vs plastic)..but also changed the gasket... later i will test density. >Yes Citreon can read faults, but here in UK they will charge you big time if they dont get to do the work, >£45 I think a mate paid to have his Saxo ECU read without them doing the work after to fix. £45 a lots of money...for few "work". i order a lots of parts..at my cit dealer..he is interessted in my conversion...maybe i will spend some cookies for the mechanics...or 5 for ??? mik ps: sam, remember: in my signature..you will see pictures of my phase 2 Edited November 28, 2006 by Bam
