Converting Gearbox To Cable Shift?

was looking to converting my gearbox to use cable shift instead of linkages, as it is a bit tight for room with a x4 system going in, do 406 boxes use cable shift, and are they BE boxes? will they fit straight on or can you adapt the cable system off another pug box to fit on an MI box?

has been covered before!! basically a 406 or C5 gearstick, with 406 cables and brackets will do the job nicely.
