Car Wont Fire After Fitting Carbs?

any ideas? all connected up... tried turning it over for 3 or 4 mins but zilcho... tried adjusting the fpr's a bit but nothing took a lead out and put a spark plug in it but its not firing

have you altered coil wiring?

check all earths are good and is it on all 4 leads?

not touched the coil. what i did notice is that theres 4 spades on the coil but only 3 wires goin to it... searched for a 4th wire but theres not one anywhere... the coil/ignition amp got a bit wet when filling up the water but dried them off and theres not even a tiny spark...

Its normal to only have 3 connectors. Have you got spark off your king lead, or did you just check the plug leads?

on later cars there are a few wiring plugs in that area of the engine bay just make sure something not come undone, but that said you probably havent been messing in that area if all you have done is fit carbs

one of the plugs is the plug that connects to wiring connection on the dizzy.
