Yes, the sender screwed into the rear face of the sump is the oil temperature one. My sender (1989 1.6) is stamped "061199", which is probably its manufacturer's reference as opposed to Peugeot's part number.

Do you know what the 2 connectors on it are for? Ever since I rewired my sprint car 2 winters ago I came out with only 1 wire for it and the gauge hasnt worked since heh ;)

just i have a lill problem my local parts supplier cant crossover peugeot numbers :( (dont know why). and im wondering if u have any ideas on another number i can use. as they cant find one in their books.

Its probably best to just get it from Peugeot, they aren't that expensive iirc.

ill have to give peugeot a try then. you watch them try and sting me for about 25 quid though. i always seem to have to pay more for things from them. :)
