Do Pug Bushes Fit Non Pug Wishbones?

Is anybody aware of a case of genuine peugeot bushes not fitting aftermarket wishbones?

I bought some from Ebay and the bushes have worn, I have purchased a set of bushes from Peugeot but don't want to go through the effort of cutting the old ones out only to find the new ones don't fit.

One suspects (cynical hat one) that they are all pug wishbones. A quick sand blast + a coat of point, fit new bushes and joint and sell as new.

Definately different castings around, and I assume that all the OE ones would have been the same?
